I am so glad that the NBA season is finally here.  Tonight the Golden State Warriors will get their championship rings and unveil yet another banner.  That will put a final wrap on last season.  Now we look forward to the upcoming season and give you a few predictions for 2018-2019.

Here is how I see the Eastern Conference Playing Out….

  1. Boston Celtics
  2. Philadelphia 76ers
  3. Toronto Raptors
  4. Washington Wizards
  5. Milwaukee Bucks
  6. Miami Heat
  7. Indiana Pacers
  8. Detroit Pistons
  9. Charlotte Hornets
  10. Cleveland Cavaliers
  11. Brooklyn Nets
  12. Chicago Bulls
  13. Orlando Magic
  14. New York Knicks
  15. Atlanta Hawks

Here is how I see the Western Conference Playing Out….

  1. Golden State Warriors
  2. Houston Rockets
  3. Oklahoma City Thunder
  4. Los Angeles Lakers
  5. Utah Jazz
  6. Denver Nuggets
  7. New Orleans Pelicans
  8. San Antonio Spurs
  9. Minnesota Timberwolves
  10. Portland Trail Blazers
  11. Los Angeles Clippers
  12. Memphis Grizzlies
  13. Phoenix Suns
  14. Sacramento Kings
  15. Dallas Mavericks

My final thoughts on the season as we get ready to embark on the new NBA year.  I think that the Warriors will win again but will be in an EPIC final against the Boston Celtics.  Boston is the only team that I think that can beat them but I believe will come up short.  As far as the season long MVP I am going to pick Kevin Durant.  Regarding the Sacramento Kings, I have them winning 24 games but edging out Dallas, avoiding the worst record in the West.
