Grossman is entering the seventh year of his career and played for the Minnesota Twins last season where he slashed .273/.367/.384 in 129 games. He was also worth a 1.5 WAR.
The 29-year-old gives the A’s an versatile option in the outfield. Of his 129 games, 52 saw Grossman in right field, 34 in left field, and 36 at DH.
Grossman is the third signing the A’s have made this week, signing catcher Nick Hundley on Monday and re-signing starting pitcher Brett Anderson on Tuesday.
