The Oakland Raiders have been involved in multiple rumors regarding Antonio Brown. The trade market for Brown has been moving quickly and the Raiders are still very much in on the receiver. With those rumors, plenty more news came across regarding the 30-year-old receiver.
Here’s the latest from Wednesday:
- Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Wednesday morning that a deal is expected to be in place for Brown by Friday. A deal can be announced before the new league year next Wednesday but can’t be official until then.
- Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that three new teams have entered the mix for Brown over the last 48 hours. It was reported last week that the Raiders, Broncos, and Cardinals contacted the Steelers about Brown.
- Rapoport also reported that while three more teams are in, both the Jets and Cardinals are considered to be out.
- A source told Josina Anderson of ESPN that the Brown trade market has become a “one team race.”
